Youth-Brunch in the congregation Bonn
On March, 7th a group of our young preperation team could enthuse the congregation in Bonn with a brunch.
On the evening before Chiara Moora and Georg Hauser arrived by train. They were loaded with bags, and backpacks from their shopping. But they had brought as well there sleepingbags. It was already dark outside, so the garden could be seen only the next morning.
The rest of the evening they spent with preperations: leek was washed, pasta cooked; in the end everything had to be tasted.
After work was done a walk along the river Rhein, beneath a clear starry sky was a first reward.
After a night in the "depot" - the old wagon shed - the buns had to be backed early in the morning, the soup had to be cooked, meetballs needed to be formed and coffee and tea were cooked; juice and water were filled in jugs, the tables were set, a sign was written and the buffet arranged. The result was presentable:
buns, puff pastry filled with spinach , cheesesticks, leeksoup with meetballs, pastasalad, cake - and all home made!!!
After the Act of Cosecration of Man there was first a book sell, but shortly after people came to get a first helping at the buffet. All came for a second helping later on! It all tasted very good!!!

During the meal there are good conversations with the congregation.
Last but not least...
Afterwards not only the kitchen had to be cleaned, but as well the baskets where money was collected. The money will support young people with their travelexpenses and aid to pay their congress fees.
